A dedicated advocate for career readiness and economic empowerment, Imani has significantly contributed to Carolina Canyon’s flagship initiatives, including the MBSYEP Growth Industry Program, which equips 75 youth annually with entrepreneurial and career skills, and the CRESP Summer Program, focused on career exploration and social-emotional learning for more than 75 young participants.
Imani actively facilitates community outreach, connecting DC residents to vital job placement opportunities, financial literacy education, and strategic partnerships. As a liaison within Carolina Canyon’s investing vertical, she collaborates with startups, Silverlake, and venture capital partners, aligning resources to advance the organization’s mission.
Imani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s University, with concentrations in International Business and Economics. Her global studies at Dikemes–CYA in Greece and Instituto Cervantes in the Czech Republic further enrich her approach, bringing a diverse perspective to youth and community development at Carolina Canyon.
