Carolina Closet is an initiative of the Invest 3C Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Carolina Canyon, dedicated to empowering individuals through economic mobility and workforce readiness. This program provides D.C. residents with access to professional attire, ensuring they have the confidence and resources to dress for success as they pursue career opportunities, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.You can support Carolina Closet by:
- Donating gently used professional clothing.
- Partnering with us to host clothing drives or fundraising events.
- Sponsoring a participant to receive a complete professional wardrobe.

How It Works
The Carolina Canyon Alumni Association is a lifelong community for anyone who has completed a Carolina Canyon program, from youth initiatives like Camp Ignite, CRESP, Growth Industries, Finance Pathways, and STEMpact Academy to adult programs like JRT, Comprehensive Enrichment, East of the River, Hospitality Launchpad, and our financial literacy cohorts. It exists to help close the wealth gap and expand economic mobility by keeping alumni connected to career and education support, job and internship leads, advanced financial and wealth-building workshops, and a powerful network of employer and college partners. At its core, the Alumni Association is our promise that once you’re part of Carolina Canyon, you’re family—and we’re committed to walking with you as you grow, lead, and lift up the next generation.
The Benefits of Being an Alum
As a Carolina Canyon alum, you stay connected to ongoing career and education support, including job leads, internship and apprenticeship opportunities, and resume/LinkedIn help. You get access to advanced financial literacy and wealth-building workshops so you can keep growing your money skills over time.
